Fees

Fees are based on an 11 week term. We are very competively priced. Fees from September 2017.

1/2 hour £55 a term

3/4 hour £58 a term

1 hour £60 a term

3 or less students in a class is £60 a term

ACRO £60 a term

Private Lessons - from £35 an hour

Discount of 5%... 

1. To siblings doing 2 classes or more each
2. For Single bills over £170 a term

The 2nd class in the same style is £38

i.e Modern £58 then Jazz £38 OR Ballet Class £60 and 2nd ballet class £38.

Payment is due within the first 2 weeks of each new term.

Please note if leaving half a terms notice is required or a full fees will be due.

Uniform 

Uniform can be purchased direct from NSD.  Please email nicholsschoolofdance@yahoo.co.uk with requirements. 

Buttercup, Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet

Pink capped sleeve leotard, pink voile or chiffon skirt, pink ballet shoes,
pink ballet socks, pink cross over.

Grades 1 – 3 Ballet:

Burgandy  leotard, burgandy wrap skirt, pink ballet shoes, pink
ballet tights, black character shoes, character skirt ( pink ribbons).

Grades 4  – Advanced ballet:

Black thin strapped leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes/soft blocks,
pointe shoes, black character shoes, character skirt ( blue ribbons).

Modern and Tap (up to grade 5):

Burgandy leotard, footless tights or black hotpants, black jazz shoes,
black tap shoes.

Modern and Tap (grade 6 and above)

Black or Burgundy thin strapped leotard with black footless tights, black jazz
shoes, black tap shoes.

Optional

Nichols School of Dance T-Shirt and/or Hoodies / Onesies, NSD Elite Jackets.

Terms and Conditions

Admissions

• Term fees are payable in advance. It is a basic condition of attendance that fees are paid by the 3rd week of term at the latest. Any fees outstanding at half term will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

• Half a terms notice is required, in writing or
  email before the end of the term or a full terms fee is payable.  If a child is to be withdrawn from the school, this will ensure we are able to accept another pupil from the waiting list. Failure to do so will result in the next terms fee being paid.

Refunds

• In the event of students absence classes are non-refundable.

Students

• Nichols School of dance is only responsible for students while in class.

• Students must be dressed in the correct
       uniform for each class and must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner
       while on the school premises. This will ensure the safety and well-being
       of all students.

• Students must be on time for classes and may
       be refused entry if late as this causes disruption to other students
       learning.

• No jewellery or watches are to be worn in
       class for health and safety reasons.

• All students’ property is their
       responsibility, Nichols School of Dance cannot be held liable for
       any lost or damaged belongings.

• Photographs may be taken in classes and at
       dance venues to be displayed in programmes or other publicity material for
       the school.

Parents/Guardians:

• All pupils are required to return a completed
       and signed enrolment form signed by the person responsible for paying
       their fees.

• Parents should be aware that due to the nature
       of the dance class it is often necessary for the teacher to use
       appropriate physical contact when teaching students.
